Reducing our environmental footprint is a key

priority for us at Sarah's Tea. We are always

looking for environmentally-friendly options.

Here is what we have done so far:

** All our herbs and spices are certified organic in

Australia - supporting organic farming

** All teas are loose herbs and spices - no tea bags,

which are only for single use and often bleached

** Our tea boxes are made in Australia from

'Enviro board' sourced from a recylce mill from

post-consumer waste - recycled Australian card board,

and completely recyclable and biodegradable

** The tea box inner bags are made from cellulose, a

plant material - biodegradable

** The tea boxes are printed using soy based inks,

and all manufacturing waste is controlled and recycled

** All business cards are printed locally on recycled

** Printed material is kept to a minimum on recycled

** Our postage boxes are made from as much recovered waste material as possible - we are always looking more sustainable options

Hello Friends! We're excited to share our expanding range of unique, organic, Ayurvedic herbal teas.  Our delicious blends are specifically designed to help us maintain our energy, support our digestion and promote calmness to build and sustain vitality.

Over the past 6 years I've been through a transformational health experience, leading to my recovery from Adrenal Fatigue. I was suffering from many of the typical effects of stress: poor digestion, poor immunity, trouble sleeping, anxiety and fatigue.

I found Ayurveda through yoga study, and it was the real game-changer in turning my health around. I now have the energy I need to do the things I love, and it all started with a herbal tea recipe for rejuvenation.

I'm now heavily immersed in the discipline of Ayurveda. In fact I love it so much I quit my old career and have been working with respected Ayurvedic Practitioner, Kester Marshall at the Mudita Institute & Health Clinic in Mullumbimby, NSW for the past 5 years.

After seeing hundreds of women come through the clinic, I've learnt it wasn't just me who was tired... As women in our 30's, 40's and 50's, so, so many of us are typically dealing with 3 major challenges:

1.     Troubles with digestion

2.     Stress and anxiety

3.     Lack of sleep

The consequence of this is that we end up tired most of the time. Sometimes we're relying on caffeine and sugar to get us over the line, but often this is just making us even more energy-depleted.

This is Kester Marshall, Ayurvedic Practitioner / Ninja Herbalist / Zen Monk...read more about him at The Mudita Institute & Health Clinic

Hi, I'm Sarah: Yoga Teacher, Ayurvedic Enthusiast, Mudita Institute Team Member, Environmentalist. (B.Env.Sc, B.Arts(Soc.Sc)).

Kester and I use a combination of Ayurvedic herbs and spices that are blended to support us. I'm fortunate to be able to share his ninja-like Herbalist skills in our range of unique, organic, Ayurvedic herbal teas.

I'm particularly excited by Adaptogenic Herbs, which have the unique ability to help strengthen the body's response to stress and enhance its ability to cope with anxiety while fighting fatigue – they help us 'adapt' to stressful times. Our range is full of these incredible herbs, including: Liquorice, Tulsi, Ginger, Ashwaganda and Gotu Kola.

The effect of the herbal teas might be subtle initially, although for some it is more pronounced, but they work over time. Their properties will in effect be 'topping up' your health every day rather than depleting it. It will be supporting your body to heal itself, regain balance and to build vitality.

I believe that modern life has become so hectic, so demanding that most of us are deeply tired and out of balance. The quick fixes of our Western diet can often contribute to a long-term depletion of our energy e.g. through over-caffeinating ourselves and excessive sugar consumption.

Our vision is for everyone to benefit from Ayurvedic herbal wisdom by enjoying delicious, healing herbal teas every day. Vitality: 1 cup at a time!

Happy Tea Drinking!

Sarah xo
